About Us: Ron Sellers, President 

Ron Sellers has nearly twenty years of experience in the marketing research field, and founded Ellison Research in 1996.

Prior to Ellison Research, Ron was employed by the $95 billion Bank One corporation (now part of JPMorgan Chase & Co.) as their regional director of primary and secondary research. He is accomplished in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.

Ron has been noted for his work by the media, leading to articles, interviews, or recognition in The Wall Street Journal, CBS Radio, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, USA Radio Network, Associated Press, and many others. He is also the author of dozens of articles in a variety of industry publications.

His background includes stints as a television sportscaster and radio personality, and he still does professional voice work occasionally. He has a degree from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, where he played on the varsity lacrosse team, managed the university’s radio station, and generally caused as much havoc as possible.

Ron is married to Ana, a psychologist, and has one daughter, Teresa. Interests include sports, reading, travel (38 countries and counting), Portuguese cuisine and culture (Ron’s background, as well as Ana’s), and photography (click on the thumbnails below for a few examples).
